rqlite is a lightweight, open-source, fault-tolerant relational database built on SQLite and Raft.
Version 10.3.0 has been released and includes some updates to the web console, upgraded SQLite, and other bug fixes and improvements. The headline fix in this release, however, comes courtesy of Antithesis.
Antithesis recently started running their autonomous testing platform against rqlite and uncovered a fascinating edge-case bug that caused incorrect query results – and possibly even data loss. It required a remarkably specific sequence of events to trigger. While it was never reported in production it is exactly the kind of elusive issue I want to know about and fix.
